As time goes on everything keeps on getting better and better. Newer and more efficient. Well video games systems are the same way. Every couple of years a new system comes out that completely blows away the last one. Somehow my family has owned almost every game system from Atari to Xbox 360. At last count I had not owned 2 systems, a game boy type thing, and the ps3. Now and days you can play any type of game with people across the world or anything else you can imagine. But I found out that you cannot beat the old systems . I do not know why but me and my friends always turn back to any of the systems older then the Nintendo 64. We have rebought several of these system and games because they are fun to play. They might not be the best graphics or the best sound but they are fun to play and keep your attention.

This is so true. My favorite system of all time is the Sega Genesis. Some would say Halo or Call of Duty are the most influential games ever made, but they are wrong. It's Sonic the Hedgehog. My friends and I would play for hours. Another great game was original Golden Axe. I'm really glad you wrote about this, because now I am probably going to go set it up and play.
ReplyDeleteNothing beats the classics! The other day me and my friend got the Super Nintendo out of the closet and played it all nite long. Such games as Paper Boy, Super Mario 3, and Donkey Kong nothing beats those games. Now days games have to much going on in them and i get all confused. Also, the 64 is a great system like Super Smash Bros. or Golden Eye. So many great games we need to go back in time!
ReplyDeleteI think part of the popularity of your old machines has to do with nostalgia. Do you know what I mean?
ReplyDeleteHey, I still think I can kick you ass in Super Mario Kart Battle.
ReplyDeleteAgreed though. Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, SNES, and N64 where the best systems to this date. The new systems lack great games. There are good games, but they really lack great games. What's great now, is you can go buy ten N64 games for fifteen bucks. Compared to the PS3 or Xbox, you really can't get any great games for the same value.
